Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu the most confidential avatara of the Supreme Personaility of Godhead , Lord Sri Krishna in this Kaliyuga , Started the Sankirtana movement of “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare ’’ mahamantra in Navadweep, West Bengal.His wish was to spread this Sankirtana Movement of this mahamantra in every nook and corner of the world .
To take the mission of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu forward, his Divine Grace A.C.Bhakthi Vedanta Swami Prabhupada Established ISKCON Temples worldwide and started ISKCON GBC ( Governing Body Commission). With the initiation from ISKCON GBC and Blessings from a direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada, His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj. Two of the dedicated Iskcon members HG Anantha Sesha Das (Iskcon Kakinada Temple President) and HG Sridhar Das came to Kakinada in the year 2013 and started ISKCON Namahatta centre to continue the disciplinic legacy of the Sankirtana mission.

During the early days they started slowly but surely to enter the masses of Kakinada who already have divine tinge in them. Following strict Temple schedule starting from 4.30 am Mangal Aarthi, Tulasi Aarthi, Guru Aarthi, Bhagavatham Class, Naivediyam, Prasadam Distribution Preaching activities and ending the day at 8.30 pm. Special Attraction was the Sunday programme where there is Bhagawadh Gita Pravachan, Sankirtana, Maha Prasadam for all.
From this they had extended into Nagar Sankirtana, Festivals like Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Jagannath Swami Rathyatra was being attended by more than 5000 people and full maha prasadam was being provided to all. In addition to this Sunday Druva School, School & College Student Couenselling Sessions, University & Corporate Stress & Life Style Management Sessions were being conducted.
